Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire is a spin-off pinball game for the Game Boy Advance. It expands upon the game mechanics used in Pokémon Pinball and features the Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokédex. It was released on Wii U Virtual Console in Japan on December 10, 2014, making it the first Pokémon game to be released for the Wii U Virtual Console. The game is played with a Poké Ball in the traditional pinball format. There are two tables, the Ruby Field and Sapphire Field, each varying in gameplay and Pokémon available for capture. If this game is played on the Game Boy Player accessory, the player can use the rumble feature in the GameCube's controller.
